LAVALLEE, Garry,

Garry LaVallee, passed away peacefully on Saturday March 11th, 2017 while vacationing in Florida with his family. He is survived by his beloved wife Tish (nee Laverdure) and his daughters Tracie (Neil) & Laurie (Grant). “Popeye” was a grandfather and best friend to Noah, Lynus, Esmee, Henry & Zachary.
Garry was born on March 21st, 1945 to Leo and Minerva and raised in the war time housing in Kingston. He cherished many memories with his brother, Leo (Debbie) and sisters, Elaine (Jerry) Carol(Wayne)and Susie(Wayne) and his late brother Ron (Pat).
To know Garry was to love him. “Lav” was a fiercely proud Kingstonian, tough as nails on the ice, beloved in his community, and a ticket-scratcher extrordinaire. His sense of humour and zest for life were absolutely contagious as his countless dear friends and loved ones will attest.
We are grateful for all of the precious moments we have had with Garry.
A celebration of life will be planned for this spring.
